8. Location Services

The Truxello Driver mobile application collects precise location (GPS) data from drivers in order to share the driver's position with their carrier's dispatch team, provide accurate pickup and delivery ETAs to brokers and customers, and support trip records and compliance reporting.

Background location collection. With the driver's explicit consent, the app collects location data in the background — that is, even when the app is closed or not in use. Background collection only occurs while the driver is assigned to an active load, and stops automatically once that load is completed or cancelled. Before any background location permission is requested, the app displays an in-app disclosure explaining what is collected and why, and the driver must affirmatively accept it.

Your control. Granting background location is optional. If a driver declines, the app continues to function using foreground-only location updates. Drivers can revoke location permissions at any time in their device settings without losing access to the app.

Sharing and retention. Location data is shared only with the carrier organization that the driver belongs to, and with brokers or customers to the limited extent needed to report load status and ETAs. We do not sell location data or use it for advertising. Location history is retained for the period required to support billing, dispute resolution, and applicable transportation recordkeeping obligations.

9. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

11. International Data Transfers

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.
